Travel Workout 11.9.2018
Travel WOD:
3 rounds of:
100 double unders
50 alternating lunges
(From Aimee)
Recap: Traveling somewhere? Always bring your Rogue jump rope. It can’t be beat. From the jungle, to the hotel gym and beyond, jump roping is one of the best cardio inducing workouts you can do. The point of a workout is to train your heart to find a steady rhythm and get into a calorie burning mode while not going into the red. This is the most efficient way for your body to burn excess fat and calories.
The other side of this workout, is the waking lunge. In order to create more aerobic capacity, you must first increase your muscle endurance. Part of that is why we have included a total of 150 walking lunges down below.
While the double unders are tricky (you know what they are if you got ‘em) it will be the lunges that you will feel at the end of the day. Give this one a go and add a few more rounds into it if you’re looking for an extra burner or two.
Can’t do double unders? Scale to singles.
