Alright, you caught me....I'm a really big fan of double-unders and front squats. Put them together though, and things can get a bit miserable. But in our world, miserable is a good thing………right?
Anyway, here's my pick for the #WODoftheWEEK. Git sum.'

15 Min AMRAP
Double-unders
Top of every minute complete 3 bodyweight front squats from the ground.
Score = Double Unders.
You obviously want to get the most DU’s possible to bump up that score so the name of the game here is pacing. You will feel good the first couple rounds on the DU’s but you need to tell yourself that it important to stay consistent. The purpose is not to get 90 that first round then drop off to 30 on the last few. It is worth it to stop your first couple rounds short in order to have a little rest.
The front squats should take anywhere from 10-15 seconds depending on how much rest you take. If you want to take an extra 2 or 3 seconds before the squats to allow you to go right into the DU’s it is also worth it. As you know, all of this is much easier said than done but keep moving. Your mind will want to quit on this workout but your body will do the work!!
This one is a lung and leg burner but if you pace it right you will get huge number on those DU’s!!
