#WODoftheWEEK 4.1.2018 "We meet again."
"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning." - Louis L'Amour
#WODoftheWEEK 4.1.2018
TWO ROUNDS
2000 meter ski erg
30 Chest-To-Bar pull-ups
800-meter run
30 Toes-To-Bar
150 Double Unders
30 Burpees
So, I tackled this beast this week as part of a new "thing" I'm trying out, and that just so happens to be an Invictus Fitness cycle. If you haven't heard of Invictus, yet, and are in the CrossFit space, you really should check 'em out.
They are headquartered out of Southern California and are a collection of gyms geared towards all levels, ages, and more, but also have a big focus on competitive programming. And a few guys at my box (CrossFit Southie) love doing the Invictus cycles (three month periods of 5-day a week workouts that are about 1.5 to 2 hours long).
As it is, I've really just started, so I am by no means an expert, but wanted to share this workout with you as a bit of insight into the Invictus world of fitness. The above workout totally kicked my ass, and honestly took me close to 50 minutes to finish.
Anyway, if you are looking for a workout that you can just put your head down and work, write this one down, because it's going to take you a while, and the only way to tackle this elephant is just one bite at a time. Great programming, and again, check out Invictus, or read down below for more info on them.
"INVICTUS IS MORE THAN A GYM, IT’S A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION, AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO ACHIEVE YOUR FITNESS GOALS.”
And if you're in the Boston area, you are in luck, as there are now TWO Invictus Boston locations here now. Check it all out here.
