An Investment in Travel Is An Investment in Yourself

I've always believed you get what you pay for.
And trust me, from being a tour guide in Europe for previous adventure travel companies, I've seen it firsthand. It's one thing to want to travel Europe on a budget, but it's another thing to have a miserable time.
Not that I'm saying they go hand in hand, but there's certainly a right way to do it, and a wrong way. And one of the biggest obstacles we had when Tony and I founded this company, was the pricing. Having the firsthand knowledge of all these amazing locations and knowing how expensive they can be, it was tough to decide how much to offer, and for what.
It really plagued us for a while...we wanted our trips to be epic, to allow people to get unplugged, to see the off the beaten path things, to unwind, to sweat, to explore...but we also wanted our future clients to be able to afford these trips.
Of course we want our clients to do as much as possible and truly get the biggest bang for their buck, but justifying $2,000 for a 10 day trip isn't something everyone can do. And we completely understand that. But there's a quote I once heard, and I want to pass it over to you.
“An investment in travel is an investment in yourself”
Sure, I get it...you can do a lot in life for $2,000. Even travel Europe on your own. But I firmly believe what Tony, the rest of the VRX team and I are doing is worth every penny. There's not many tour companies out there providing what we are. We're not just getting you to a destination and dropping you off...we're going to be there very step of the way. From the walking tours, to skydiving, whitewater rafting, and even drinking at the bar later with you. We'll be there to answer questions, laugh, share memories, show you the best spots to eat, shop and more.
I mean, how could you not want to travel with this loveable Co-Founder?
We'll be pushing you along the hike, giving a helping hand and exploring with you. These are destinations we know, these are all destinations we love, places we can't wait to get back to and share with you.
Sure, there's a plethora of other companies you can go to, destinations you can hit, but there's a reason why all our itineraries have cities and places you've never heard of. That's because there are hidden gems, places you'll go, things you'll see that will change you for the better.
Travel is truly an investment in YOURSELF. And during the 10+ days you'll spend with our staff members, you'll notice a change. You'll become more self-aware, you'll become more understanding, more relaxed, more appreciative, more loving (and be in better shape) from all these drop-ins.
What you're buying when you come on a VoyEdge RX trip is something you can't put a price on. You're investing in a better version of yourself, for years to come, and I hope this blog post gives you the insight of it all.
But the trips are so expensive!
And we know that for sure. But like I said, this isn't your typical vacation....I get the sticker shock, but I know how much activity are in each one of these itineraries, and I know they're damn well worth it. And I'm confident you'll see it too over time with our company.
Personally, I'd love to have everyone afford to travel with us, but Tony and I agreed one thing.
Above all, we want to have the best damn trips out there. No excuses.
We spent a hell of a lot of time talking, ideating and implementing the best routes possible for our future customers. Why? Because we wanted to. VoyEdge RX isn't a 'get rich quick' scheme. It's a fiery passion of a company that's finally come to fruition - and we hope after our very first customers come abroad with us for 10+ days, they say, 'Wow. That was fucking awesome.'
Our goal at VoyEdge RX is to craft itineraries and trips that you'll remember for a lifetime.
I can't necessarily put swears onto our home page, but I do believe the blend of fitness, exploring cities, historic venues and outdoor exploration we've concocted into every single one of our trips is the perfect blend of a vacation. It's tough to see right now because we're limited on content, but I know for sure once we run our 'Central Europe + Springfest' people will see the powerful experiences we're crafting from our years in the adventure travel and fitness worlds.
Will we ever be millionaires? I highly doubt it, but from Tony and I's preliminary conversations about starting this company, we each said, if we can change one person's life for the better from these trips, then everything we've done for VoyEdge RX is totally worth it.
