#WorkoutoftheWeek 11.26.2018
Well, well, well….welcome back to another #WorkoutoftheWeek post from our team at VoyEdge RX. We all know Thanksgiving weekend is an epic time filled with family, friends and FOOD, and as good as all of it is, there’s a time to get back to work in the gym and #PAYTHEMAN.
Anyone get that reference?
Ahh, moving on. So, we have a kickass partner workout to get to in just a minute, filled with FIVE (count ‘em, FIVE) benchmark female workouts. These ones are BRUTAL on their own, and all thrown together in the mix, this 35-minute time cap will no doubt put you to the test.
As you will see down below, the workouts must be completed sequentially, in order, but the reps can be split up however you see fit. Just remember to push it, but not redline, if you can.
Let’s get to it.
#Workoutoftheweek
In teams of 2:
Fran, Annie, Elizabeth, Grace, Karen
(35 min. max)
All five workouts must be completed in order, for time.

THE SET-UP:
You are going to have to do some setting up before al five of these workouts. Obviously a barbell with various different weights on there, find a ring dip station, a pull-up bar, a wall ball target and a place to do double unders, so take some time and plan your set-up accordingly before diving head first into this workout.
THE WORKOUT:
Hit it and hit it hard. Starting with Fran and Elizabeth you are going to find your biceps, triceps, quads and hamstrings smoked before going into the third workout: Annie. Use Annie as your time to recover and catch your breath. The double unders and sit ups there shouldn’t be too taxing, but plitting the rounds and reps with your partner should give you some time to relax a bit before hitting Grace and doing 30 Clean and Jerks for time. Split those up evenly and go 1 for 1 before hitting Karen and really putting on the after burners.
Whatever you can do with Karen, do it. Whether it’s 25 wall ball shots each (or more), you owe it to yourself to push it to the max. The first two workouts are the hardest here, with the last three being the most feasible.
Overall, epic combination here. Five really hard workouts with the bulk of the work being towards the front of the pack. Let us know what you think of this workout series down below in a comment.
AFTERMATH:
So, what did you think? Did it take you all 35 minutes? Did it take you longer? There is A LOT of volume here and you should be commended for completing all these workouts together with a partner. No doubt you’ll be feeling this tomorrow (and the day after that), so when completed, take some time to mobilize and do some recovery stretching. Then, probably go home and hit some of those leftovers….
SCALING:
Scale accordingly. You are going to have to do some setting up before the workout, too, so think about scaling the workouts then and there. There’s no reason to try and be a hero here. There’s no reason to get hurt. Just be honest with yourself and hit this workout with your best effort.
