You have a support system at home but what about when you're traveling? That's where we come in. - FittestTravel
As someone who travels frequently, it can be really hard to stay fit away from home. One reason for this is the lack of support we're getting when we're on the road.
Think about this for a second.
At home, you have a support system. You have friends and family. You have the people in the fitness classes you take or the friends you've made at the gym you go to.
But what about when you're traveling?
For most of us, those groups disappear when we're traveling. They don't travel with us. This leaves us isolated in many ways and can make keeping to a fitness routine even tougher. You're already dealing with things like hectic schedules and lousy hotel gyms. Give yourself the best chance of success.
You need to be part of a group of people who think the same way you do.
People who travel a lot but still care about their health and fitness.

For Time:
Run 1 mile as Fast as Possible
What is your 1-mile time? What's the last time you gave it an honest shot? Lungs are just as important as muscles, and when it comes to endurance, you bet your ass you're going to need both. Nomads aren't bodybuilders, nor are they straight runners, but fitness requires more of the latter, while the strength portion can take some time to accrue.
Spend some time building up your cardiac fitness and use your current 1-mile time as a wakeup call to improve on that aerobic efficiency. Pace it, sprint the last lap. And improve that time week after week. If you are a seasoned runner already, multiply the mileage and test your 3-mile or 5-mile time.
